How to Nominate for the 2026 Celebrating Women in Business
We all know a woman whose leadership, mentorship, and impact deserve recognition.
The Pinnacle Award celebrates an exceptional woman whose achievements, leadership, and commitment to community have made a lasting impact on Kingston and beyond.
Nominations for the inaugural Pinnacle Award will be accepted from June 22, 2026, through August 28, 2026.
Nominations may be submitted by colleagues, employees, business associates, clients, community members, or the nominee herself.
Nomination Process
Step 1: Submit a Nomination
Complete the online nomination form and provide information about the nominee's leadership, business accomplishments, community involvement, and commitment to fostering inclusive environments.
Step 2: Nominee Confirmation
If submitted by a third party, the nominee will be contacted to approve and accept the nomination before advancing to the evaluation stage.
Step 3: Complete the Submission
Approved nominees will be invited to complete the official award submission and provide supporting information for review by the judging panel.
Step 4: Independent Judging
Eligible submissions will be evaluated by an independent panel of judges based on the published award criteria.
Step 5: Award Presentation
The recipient of the inaugural Pinnacle Award will be announced during the Celebrating Women in Business event on September 17, 2026.
Note: There is no cost for submitting nominations.
Before You Begin
Before starting a nomination, we recommend gathering the following information:
- Examples of leadership and business achievements
- Community involvement and volunteer contributions
- Examples of mentorship and support provided to others
- Information about initiatives that promote inclusive workplaces and equitable opportunities
- Measurable outcomes, accomplishments, or business successes
Strong nominations include specific examples, measurable results, and clear evidence of impact.
Nomination Deadline: August 28, 2026 at 4:30 p.m.
How to Submit
- Register for an Account: Visit the nomination portal and create an account.
- Complete the Form: Provide detailed information about the business, aligning with the award criteria.
- Submit: Review your nomination and submit it before the deadline.
